Take a peek...

Haven't had the time to share any non-client photos in a while, so enjoy what your favorite photographers have to offer on a personal level!

These were taken same day about 8 hours apart.
Day, across the field from my family home, night, a nearly full moon over Cocoa Beach.

Got some new equipment and was eager to check it out...Otto was gracious enough to sit for a few seconds before he had to sniff it for himself.

Any normal morning.

Leigh practicing her "ring" photos for an upcoming wedding.

He loves Otto, Otto not so much, haha!

Atticus de Orlando

After a photo session in Lake Mary/Winter Springs, we saw a sign to see "The Senator"...intrigued, we checked it out!  Turns out it's the largest Cypress tree in the US!  Leigh's grandmother has a photo of herself at it that we're trying to get our hands on!

Quick Facts: Dedicated in 1929 by Calvin Coolidge, Estimated to be 3500 yrs old, As of 1993: 17.5' Diameter, 425" Circumference, 118' High!!

Every day I'm Shufflin'!
(One of many get-ups that he puts together in order to dance to LMFAO's "Party Rock", his favorite song.  The shoes are the only constant.)

Bakers on Parade

We have previously done a few photo sessions for another "Baker Family", and now it was time to get big bro in on the action.  When he contacted us we sent out our usual information package in which it explains that we enjoy (especially with children) props or things that have a special meaning that might add a touch of reality to a photograph.  He had a great idea, his hobby was to skateboard!

We were just barely ready to start the session when he jumps up on the ramp, throws his helmet on his beautiful daughter's head, and poses as if they were about to drop in the half pipe.  It all came together so well.  This is what we mean by props and interactivity...a moment that will last forever!
(**PLUS** it proves that dad was cool at one point in his life)

Capturing the whole family in an otherwise non-traditional place is a great way to stand out and tell a story without words!

7 months old and already accustomed to deck tape!

And of course we are there we do plenty of "traditional" portraits...and how could you not with a cutie like this?

It's easy to catch a beautiful moment with a family with so much love for one another!

I love the Yin and Yang of the warm, soft and beautiful little person against the cold rusted metal and rock bed

Leigh snuck the baby away and I gave Jonathan and Christina their time to shine in front of the lens!

 They worked it!!

Beautiful Momma and Daughter

After it was all said and done, we headed back to the skate park to tag it with some good 'ol sidewalk chalk to remind everyone that not all family photos have to be set with a perfect background or in a studio, but should tell the story of you and your family!

Orlando City are the Champions! PART 2

Like promised I have more "photos" from the game.  Like I said in my previous post (CLICK HERE FOR PREVIOUS POST AND PANORAMIC PHOTO) I was in the stands for this game rather than down on the field so I didn't bring a telephoto.
What a game it was.  Enjoy the photos and an extra bonus, a 720p video!

The dog days of summer....

According to Wikipedia, "Dog Days" are the hottest, most sultry days of summer.  In the northern hemisphere, they usually fall between early July and early September.  The name comes from the ancient belief that Sirius, also called the Dog Star, in close proximity to the sun was responsible for the hot weather.  Pushing 90+ Fahrenheit each day puts us in dog kennel of summer!

Two BEAUTIFUL flowers!

Ahhhhh.....the pool!  Atticus has become a regular fish lately!  He has learned to dunk his head underwater, hold his breathe, and retrieve a dive stick.

Leigh was in love with the colors the sky was producing on the trip back home from swimming.

An old shed across the street from my parents house.  Growing up we couldn't see it from across the road as the entire lot was filled with orange trees.

The stages of a Fritillary Butterfly.  Each year they come and feast on our Passion Vine plant.  It's worth the destruction of a few leaves to see this miracle take place each year!

(Left) My little brother Monty always wore a cape as he ran around the house and played, so Leigh felt it was time to make one for Atticus!  I drew a logo and she went through her material remnants and put this together...SUPER ATTICUS TO THE RESCUE!  (Right) Just a normal night after dinner.  Atticus ate every bite of his mom's delicious home made Chicken-Pot-Pie!

Calm-Cool-Collected.....

....for a couple of seconds anyway!!!!!

Toon Army goes down in "Toon Town"

I couldn't wait for this game to start!  As I was down on the plastic pitch my Wife, my Brother, his Girlfriend, my Bro-In-Law, my Mom, and my Dad were all at Will Call getting ready to bring my son into the Football world for the first time!

I was again on assignment to get photos of local stars Dennis Chin (Oviedo) and Matt Luzanaris ( played 1 year at UCF and is from Florida himself).  With 25 mins to game time, Newcastle beings warming up on the turf of which they refused to play on at first.

Gutierrez, Ameobi, and Alan Smith among others getting ready.

The fans were ready to go!  Welcome to America Newcastle, we're not pushovers here anymore!

Gotta give a shout out to Los Guerrilloz & O-Town Hooligans, I missed you guys last game so I made sure to get ya this time!

Great turnouts by both sides.  Plenty of support from the Toon Army as well as the multiple Orlando City supporters groups!  A new attendance record of  10,889, it was a great atmosphere in an otherwise huge staduim!

Coaches take the pitch.....it's game time!

The game began with good action from both sides, and each got good chances on goal.

Luzunaris of OC getting up!

A great shot by Max and an equally talented save by the goalkeeper!

Dennis Chin taking control of the ball and backing down Jose Enrique

Post goal celebration!  Lots of love for both the assist and the goal, Chin couldn't have made it easier!  Dennis got a good run on a ball and put himself in position for a simple pass across the mouth of the goal and an easy shot by Molino.

Late substitution by Newcastle brings in ex-West Ham striker and new addition to Newcastle, Demba Ba.

My Son up in the stands seeing his first live football match!
I made him a Newcastle shirt because I was wearing my Orlando City Shirt....by really im a Fulhamerican (Fulham FC supporter in America).  My beautiful wife Leigh on the Left and my Mum on the Right.

My Bro and his girlfriend Kimberly, and my son and I on the pitch after the game!

I already have him passing a soccer ball back and forth with me, it's only a matter of time before this footballer is either leading the defense as a goalscoring-sweeper like his old man, controlling the midfield like his uncles, or putting them into the back of the net as a striker!
